Let’s go for a walk along the banks of the Charente river on the Quays de Cognac in Lotza‘s original work. Cognac, a town in the Charente, is famous for its great Cognac houses and its brandy, which is kept in oak barrels until it matures, a process that lasts at least two and a half years.
