Poster Pontoise
19,00€ – 29,00€
Let’s go to Île-de-France, northwest of Paris, to Pontoise, in this original work by Lotza. Pontoise, whose name means “A bridge over the Oise”, is home to about 900 underground passages. The historic center of Pontoise is built on a plateau, called Mont Bélien, which can be seen in this poster. Very early on, the inhabitants extracted the limestone from this plateau to build the city; this is why most of the houses in the city center have a cellar.
The illustration is available in 2 poster sizes: 11.8×15.7in and 19.7×27.5in.
